FEBRUARY 5, ‘25 // TOPIC #134 - CABINET REFRESH Putting an open box or container of baking soda into the closet or cabinet that has a smell helps in most cases. If a musty smell persists, you should check if there is any moisture or mold in the area. Sometimes it happens in places where the plumbing pipes run through. TOPIC #134 - CABINET REFRESH If the shelves have liners, first remove them. Then, spray with a water/vinegar solution to get rid of the smell. If the cabinets are in good condition, the smell should fade within a few weeks. Rise and Shine Hello Csay Readers, Here we are, in the midst of another coooold week. More snow, more ice, more hot chocolate. Hopefully, no more flu-sufferers and strep patients. And still, our children (okay, and us mothers, too) are expected to jump out of bed at the sound of the alarm and be at the bus stops right on time in the mornings. There have always been those children who were out and about in the wee hours of the morning, and those who enjoyed to snuggle under covers for as long as possible. But, at this point in the winter, even my early risers are dreaming of a magic-dresser so they don’t have to step down on the floor in the morning before being fully dressed. Now, let’s talk about the heroes of our mornings – our dear bachurim and older children who get out of bed at dawn to be on time for a full day of learning. A second round of applause for those who don’t ‘enjoy’ the thrill of jumping out into a freezing world at six or seven a.m.! The alarm rings, the mother sings, but what if that’s not enough? Do you have tried and proven methods for helping deep sleepers wake up in the mornings? We’d love to hear from you! NEW TOPIC #136 – SHIFTED BITE I’m wondering if anyone has experience with a shifted bite, where top and bottom teeth don’t meet on one side, or if anyone knows of a professional that can help with this matter. 138
