Millstein's cinnamon • 2 sticks butter (very soft) Cream Cheese Frosting: • 1 cream cheese • 1 box powdered sugar • 2 tbsp. milk • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract INGREDIENTS: Cinnamon buns are a timeless treat that embodies the perfect blend of softness, sweetness, and warmth. These indulgent spirals of tender dough are generously filled with a fragrant mixture of cinnamon and sugar, then baked to golden perfection. Often topped with a luscious glaze or cream cheese frosting, cinnamon buns are the ultimate comfort food, ideal for breakfast, brunch, or a cozy afternoon snack. INSTRUCTIONS: 1. In a large pot, heat the milk, oil, and sugar over medium heat until warm but not boiling. Remove from heat and add the yeast, letting it sit for a few minutes. until foamy and activated. Stir in 8 cups. of flour and mix until a sticky dough forms. Cover and let it rise for 1 hr. 2. After the dough has risen, add the remaining 1 cup. of flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until smooth, then cover and let it rise for another hour. Once ready, roll the dough into a large rectangle. Spread the softened butter evenly over the surface, then generously sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. 3. Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into 1-in. sections. Arrange the slices in a 9-in. round pan or place them individually in baking cups for single-serving buns. Let them rise again for about 20 min. 4. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Bake for 30 min. or until golden brown. While the buns are baking, mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. 5.
